Pumpkin this and pumpkin that. I feel like pumpkin spice is a highly divisive topic this time of year. You have either eaten your fill, or you have successfully kept your distance (like Mr. Hobbies So Fancy~ he wouldn’t touch it with a ten-foot pole!). Except for the one time that he ate a vegan pumpkin muffin for breakfast out of complete desperation….or was it near starvation?? Anyhow, he ate one, I saw it with my own two eyes. He wishes I hadn’t. He claims he despises the stuff.  Love it? Don’t care for it? Don’t care? Wherever you stand, you will like this: pumpkin is high in vitamin C and packed with antioxidants. This is also true when used externally! Enter: my pumpkin face mask. This mask will renew your complexion from dull to bright, instantly!

Does anyone else think it’s hilarious that most of us are totally over Fall time treats and it isn’t even Thanksgiving yet? Retailers go way overboard for Halloween and Christmas, but Thanksgiving seems forgotten. It’s sad really. I personally love Thanksgiving. I hold so many precious memories of my Mother and my Grandmothers in the kitchen and all of the traditions they passed down. The smells, the food, the company! It is a special thing that we are so fortunate that an entire day has safely been set aside to reflect upon true Thankfulness! I know it is super cheesy, but shouldn’t everyday be Thanksgiving? Without all the dishes, of course!

Pumpkin Hiatus?

No more pumpkin bread, muffins, lattes and whatever other pumpkin creations you have dabbled in. Put the pumpkin down! Take a break. (Pick it up again for pumpkin pie though, obviously!)

If you happen to have any extra pumpkin puree still lying around, use it to make this pumpkin face mask! Your skin will thank you. Your friends might even notice. This mask is perfect for a girl’s night in. I think you men will benefit from it too! Enjoy!
